Lincoln Thurlow
My name is Lincoln Thurlow. I started my PhD in 2012 at the University of California Santa Cruz. I left with my M.S. in 2016. I recieved my B.S in Computer Science from here as well. I worked in the Center for Research in Storage Systems (CRSS) under Dr. Miller and the Working Applied Group on Security and Privacy (WASP) under Dr. Long. My M.S. thesis advisor was Dr. Smith. I also worked with Dr. Obraczka as part of thesis research on network programmability. I helped develop a C++ high performance Galois field arthemetic library for Erasure Codes. I founded Security Santa Cruz in 2009. Where I taught lockpicking and demonstrated cyber security techniques. Worked at Smarkets Inc until end 2017. Joined ISI in 2018, currently working on the Merge testbed framework, and DcompTB.
